The Viva Port Talbot Renewal Ballot begins this week!

Our first five-year term is nearly over, which means it’s time for businesses to vote on the future of Viva Port Talbot. All eligible businesses will receive a ballot paper in the post from this Thursday 14th November; please post your paper using the pre-paid envelope as soon as possible to ensure that your vote is counted.

We’ve done so much in our first term that we’re incredibly proud of and that we hope to continue with your YES vote, including:

  • Establishing Port Talbot town centre’s very own food festival and reinstating the Christmas Parade, as well as organising a whole host of other events
  • Promoting Port Talbot town centre with our social media following and encouraging people to explore the centre with our trails
  • Encouraging shoppers to spend more in town centre businesses with our loyalty card scheme

There’s a lot more that we’ve done which you can read all about in our full proposal document – all businesses with a vote will have received a copy in the post around 1st November, and a digital copy is available on our dedicated reballot page here.

When your ballot paper arrives later this week, please consider voting YES to allow us to keep this momentum going for our amazing town centre and the community.

Voting will close at 5pm on Thursday 12th December. For more information about the ballot, or if you have an issue with your ballot paper, please do get in touch.
